Apology, Forgiveness & Breakup

I'm sorry that i hurt you,
Fro all the pain i put you through,
But now, i can't go back
To the way it all was before.

This was not what i meant to do,
And all i want you to know
Is i have loved you all along
And i wanted you to stay.

I know i'm not a perfect person,
And there are many things i would change,
Still you say that it's okay,
That i never meant you harm.

You're ready to forgive me,
And ready to start over,
But it feels so much easier,
Knowing you're not around
To get hurt by me, again.
